We had a great chat last night with Dr. Frank Summers from the Space Telescope Science Institute in Baltimore, Maryland. Dr. Summers is a visualization expert, who helped create the new Imax film, “Hubble 3D”. Although the Hubble Space Telescope is unable to take true 3D images, teams of scientists can use their knowledge of physics, with an added dash of imagination, to recreate an immersive experience. Combine that with the expanse of an Imax screen and the results will blow you away!
