Live Chat Roundup: July 1, 2010

Last night was the first of our intern led Live Chats.  With over 70 members attending, student interns from Kennedy Space Center and Marshall Space Flight Center chatted about themselves and their lives as NASA interns.  Roller coasters, alligators, movies and the beach were some of the things the interns displayed to their audience.  The questions and answers included many first-time chatters so we had to get a little strict to make sure we knew which question was being answered.  But it was still a great time and we appreciate the efforts of the interns and their chaperones and student advisors in making the evening a success.

How would you like to hear the presenter in our Live Chats, instead of just reading?  Soon, we will have this feature, as well as limited video capability, available to us!  It will mean learning a new system of logging in and participating, but we'll have a few practice sessions before our first invited guest.  If you have a topic idea we can use for practice, let me know in the comments.

Have a great weekend and spectacular Independence Day!
